Maison Martin-Matte de Blainville
Inspired by the first Maison Martin-Matte inaugurated in Laval in 2008, this third Maison Martin-Matte was built and is managed by the Fondation Le Pilier. It can accommodate 20 people who are living with a head injury or another type of physical impairment. This home is the result of an innovative approach and close collaboration among several partners.
Located in the heart of Blainville near many services and a magnificent park, this resource was designed to foster the autonomy of tenants and their ability to thrive in the community. Coming from long-term care facilities (CHSLD) and other settings, these residents now live in a stimulating environment that better meets their needs.
The residence has 20 studio apartments on two floors, fully adapted to the needs of each tenant.
The Maison Martin-Matte Blainville also offers personalized service thanks to its team of care workers who provide round-the-clock assistance, not to mention the targeted involvement of other partners from the health care network and the community.
